StocExpo Europe 2018
Following on from last year’s successful exhibition and conference, StocExpo Europe 2018 returns to Ahoy, Rotterdam on the 20-22nd March 2018. As the largest international event for the tank terminal industry, StocExpo Europe offers a highly anticipated three-day exhibition and conference hosted within the world’s largest oil and gas trading hub.
ATEX HighLED was present with a stand where our explosion proof LED lighting could be seen. And there was a lot of interest from the visitors, especially for the mobile Forest Frog with magnets, also available in pairs in Peli case.
ETT – Euro Tank Terminal in Europoort
ETT stores, handles and connects oil flows around the world. The core values of ETT are the need for safety and reliability, together with speed and flexibility to help their customers capitalise on opportunities.
ETT was looking for a reliable products for the lighting questions in their fields. A good price-performance ratio and an advisory partner that could offer the total solution were leading. After a thorough investigation they came to KHJ and worked hand in hand on a lighting plan for the total built environment in Europoort. We have worked with different colors of light to emphasize safety. All safety showers are equipped with green light so they can be identified easily in emergencies. The lighting plan is first fully elaborated in a calculation, as shown in these images.
TIN CAN ISLAND
The collaboration with a leading Dutch company, working in the maritime sector, has led to contacts with and further development of a new construction project in West Africa.
A completely renovated and expanded tank storage and transshipment company has been established in this port area. The owner and investor wisely decided that all European standards and legal conditions were to be met at this location, even though stringent local regulations were lacking.
